WildEarth Festival 2024 - A Fun-Filled Celebration of Conservation and Environmental Stewardship

This year's WildEarth Fest is all set to take place at the Trailside Nature and Science Center in Union County, New Jersey on April 28th. The event promises to be an exciting blend of fun activities for all ages, educational displays, and opportunities to learn about conservation and environmental stewardship.

The highlight of the festival includes a range of special presentations that are sure to captivate visitors. At 1:30 pm, join Science Magician Mr. Kids in Motion for an interactive experience with music, dance, and magic. Later at 11:30 am, learn about fascinating animals from around the world and get up close with live reptiles, mammals, birds, and insects.

Kids can also participate in various activities throughout the day, including creating a leaf to hang on Trailside's EnvironmenTREE, helping to upcycle over 300 plastic bottles into recycled art, and taking part in the Wild Earth Fest Community Art Project. The event is an inclusive celebration that welcomes visitors of all ages, with children six years old and younger admitted for free.

Admission to WildEarth Fest is $5 per person for those seven years and older. 'Wild Earth Fest raises awareness about the importance of conservation and environmental stewardship here in the Union County community and throughout the state,' said Commissioner Chairwoman Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded.

The event also features an electric vehicle display from the New Jersey Electrical Vehicle Association, sustainable art and gifts available for purchase, a sea creature touch tank from Jenkinson's Aquarium, a petting zoo from Swift Farms, live music by Acoustic NRG, Trash to Treasure Recycled Art, Trailside's outreach van with giveaways, and an obstacle course from Child's Play Challenge Courses.
